Drei Lieder , opus 12

by Josef Matthias Hauer (1883 - 1959)

Translations available for the entire opus: ENG

1. Ehmals und jetzt
 (Sung text)

Text Authorship:

  • by Friedrich Hölderlin (1770 - 1843), "Ehmals und Jetzt", appears in Gedichte 1784-1800

2. Abbitte
 (Sung text)

Text Authorship:

  • by Friedrich Hölderlin (1770 - 1843), "Abbitte", written 1798, appears in Gedichte 1784-1800

3. Die Heimat
 (Sung text)

   Von fernen Inseln, wo er geerntet hat;
      Wohl möcht' auch ich zur Heimat wieder;
         Aber was hab' ich, wie Leid, geerntet? -

Text Authorship:

  • by Friedrich Hölderlin (1770 - 1843), "Die Heimat"
