Wenn durch die Piazetta Die Abendluft weht, [Dann]1 weißt du, Ninetta, Wer wartend [hier]2 steht. Du weißt, wer trotz Schleier Und Maske dich kennt, [Wie Amor die Venus Am Nachtfirmament.]3 Ein Schifferkleid trag' ich Zur selbigen Zeit, Und zitternd dir sag' ich: „Das Boot [liegt]4 bereit! [O, komm’! jetzt, wo Lune’n]5 Noch Wolken umziehn, Laß durch die Lagunen, [Mein Leben,]6 uns fliehn!“
