Was rauscht, was raschelt durch den Busch?
Ein Mörder, der mir droht?
Mein Liebchen kommt gesprungen, husch!
Und herzt mich fast zu Tod.

Vöglein im grünen Thal 
Wissen's schon allzumal,
Rufen ihm jubelnd zu:
Lüftchen kam eh'r als du,
  Frühling ist da! 

Träumendes Herz, erfährst 
Du es nicht allererst? 
Blüte von Lust und Glanz,
Öffne dich klar und ganz,
  Frühling ist da!
