Und meine Tränen sind vor dir.
Ach Gott, mein Gott, wie lange soll ich sorgen?
Wie lang entfernst du dich von mir?

Herr, handle nicht mit mir nach meinen Sünden,
Vergilt mir nicht nach meiner Schuld.
Ich suche dich, laß mich dein Antlitz finden,
Du Gott der Langmut und Geduld.

Früh wollst du mich mit deiner Gnade füllen,
Gott, Vater der Barmherzigeit.

En kwaad vaak jegens u gedaan.
Gij ziet de schuld, die mij de vloek aankondigt,
Zie, God, ook mijn ellende aan.
 
U is mijn nood, mijn zuchten niet verborgen,
En al mijn tranen, die ziet gij.
Ach God, mijn God, hoe lang blijf ik in zorgen?
Hoe lang houdt gij u ver van mij?
 
Heer, handel niet met mij naar al mijn zonden,
Vergeld mij niet conform mijn schuld.
Ik zoek u zeer, geef u aan mij gevonden,
Gij, God van meelij en geduld.
 
Gij wilt al lang mij met genade stillen,
God, Vader van barmhartigheid.
Geef mij dus vreugd, uw grote naam ter wille,
