Sieh, Gott, auch meinen Jammer an.

Dir ist mein Flehn, mein Seufzen nicht verborgen,
Und meine Tränen sind vor dir.
Ach Gott, mein Gott, wie lange soll ich sorgen?
Wie lang entfernst du dich von mir?

Herr, handle nicht mit mir nach meinen Sünden,
Vergilt mir nicht nach meiner Schuld.
Ich suche dich, laß mich dein Antlitz finden,
Du Gott der Langmut und Geduld.

Früh wollst du mich mit deiner Gnade füllen,
Gott, Vater der Barmherzigeit.

 Seul devant Toi, j'ai péché
 et j'ai souvent mal agi.
 Tu vois la faute qui annonce ma perte;
 Vois, Dieu, également ma misère.

 Tu connais ma supplication, mes soupirs,
 et mes larmes coulent devant Toi.
 Ah! Dieu, mon Dieu, combien de temps dois-je  souffrir?
 Combien de temps T'éloigneras-Tu de moi?

 Seigneur, n'agis pas avec moi selon mes péchés,
 ne me fais pas payer ma faute.
 Je Te cherche, laisse-moi trouver Ton visage,
 Toi, Dieu de patience et longanime.

 Tu voulais tôt me remplir de Ta pitié,
 Dieu, père de miséricorde.
 Réjouis-moi par la puissance de Ton nom,
 Tu es un Dieu qui donne la joie.

 Laisse-moi de nouveau prendre joyeusement la route
 et apprends-moi à appliquer
 chaque jour Tes lois saintes selon Ta volonté;

 Seigneur, accours, Toi, mon protecteur, pour me secourir
