Las tierras corrí, los mares pasé, ventura busqué, no la may para mí: todos cuantos ví salen con ventura, para mí ninguna. Ventura buscaba, fortuna tenia, razon la pedia, amor la negaba: mi fe firme estaba, mas no mi ventura, pues no veo ninguna. La pena sufria por mi pasatiempo; pensaba que un tiempo tras otro venia: la ventura mia trocóse en fortuna, para mí ninguna.
