Abendlich schon rauscht der Wald Aus den tiefen Gründen, Droben wird der Herr nun bald An die Sterne zünden, Wie so stille in den Schlünden, Abendlich nur rauscht der Wald. Alles geht zu seiner Ruh, Wald und Welt versausen, Schauernd hört der Wandrer zu, Sehnt sich recht nach Hause, Hier in Waldes grüner Klause Herz, geh' endlich auch zur Ruh!
