Wo ein treues Herze
In Liebe vergeht,
Da welken die Lilien
Auf jedem Beet.
Da muß in die Wolken
Der Vollmond gehn,
Damit seine Thränen
Die Menschen nicht sehn.
Da halten die Englein

Und schluchzen und singen
