Bald Länder und Seen
Bald Wolkenzug
Tief schimmernd zu sehen
Im schwindelnden Flug,
Bald Dunkel wieder
Hüllt Reiter und Roß,
O Liebe, o Liebe
So laß mich los! -

Immer weiter und weiter
Die Klänge ziehn,
Durch Wälder und Heiden
Wohin, ach wohin?
Erquickliche Frische,
Süß-schaurige Lust!
Hoch flattern die Büsche,
