Nu akkers en meren, Door1 wolkenlucht, Diep schitt’rend zichtbaar In duiz’lende vlucht. Dan komt weer ‘t donker, Hult ruiter en ros, O liefde, liefde, O maak mij los! Al maar verder en verder Gaan klanken daar, Door wouden en heiden, Naar waar, ach, naar waar? Verkwikkende koelte, Zoet-griez’lig genot! Hoog waaien de bossen, ’t Hart voelt zich god.
