A través de gronxolants capçades apunta un raig daurat, a baix, dessota els cims a la vall boirosa. De lluny ressona al castell la crida del corn de caça, els cavalls renillen a l’aire, a l’aire! Adés, terres i llacs a través de la corrua de núvols es veuen resplendir pregonament en un vol vertiginós, adés, la foscúria de nou embolcalla genets i cavalls, oh amor, oh amor deixa’m anar! Cada cop més lluny s’escampen els sons, a través de boscos i prades, cap on, ai, cap on? Frescor que reanima, dolç esglai de joia! Alts, onegen els matolls, lliure, batega el cor.
