tierra que regais asi?
'Las espinas para mí,
'y las flores para vos.'

Regada con tales fuentes
jardin si habrá de hacer!
'Sí, mas de él se han de coger
'guirnaldas muy diferentes.'

Cuyas han de ser, mi Dios,
esas guirnaldas, decí?
'Las de espinas para mí,
'las de flores para vos.'
