Abendlied
 (Sung text for setting by M. Reger)
 See original
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT ENG ENG FIN FRE
Langsam wird mein Kindchen müde,
  leise kommt die Nacht;
  stille Wolken gehn am Himmel,
  und der Mond ist aufgewacht.

Schaut mit seinen klaren Blicken
  in des Kindes Kämmerlein,
  streichelt es mit sanften Händen
  in den schönsten Traum hinein.
