Βγάλε την βάρκα στην στεριά•
Έλα σε μένα και κάθισε κάτω, 
Θα μιλάμε τρυφερά πιασμένοι χέρι με χέρι. 

Ακούμπα πάνω στην καρδιά μου το κεφαλάκι σου
Και μην φοβάσαι πολύ•
Αφού αφήνεσαι τόσο άφοβα
Καθημερινά στην άγρια θάλασσα. 

Η καρδιά μου είναι ολόιδια με την θάλασσα, 
Έχει θύελλα και άμπωτη και παλίρροια, 
Και κάποια όμορφα μαργαριτάρια
