Geht und holt die Anemone,
Die du einst ans Herzchen drücktest,
Geht umklungen von dem Tone
Einst des Baums, aus dessen Krone
Du dein erstes Fernweh pflücktest.

Und du schüttelst aus den Haaren,
Was dir an der Seele frißt,
Selig Kind mit dreißig Jahren,
Alles sollst du noch erfahren,
Alles, was dir heilsam ist.
