Der Schreckenberger
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT ENG FRE FRE ITA
Aufs Wohlsein meiner Dame,
eine Windfahn' ist ihr Panier,
Fortuna ist ihr Name,
das Lager ihr Quartier!

Und wendet sie sich weiter,
ich kümmre mich nicht drum,
da draußen ohne Reiter,
da geht die Welt so dumm.

Statt Pulverblitz und Knattern
aus jedem wüsten Haus
Gevattern sehn und schnattern
alle Lust zum Land hinaus.

Fortuna weint vor Ärger,
es rinnet Perl' auf Perl';
»Wo ist der Schreckenberger?
Das war ein andrer Kerl!«

Sie tut den Arm mir reichen,
Fama bläst das Geleit,
so zu dem Tempel steigen
wir der Unsterblichkeit.

El perdonavides
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
A la salut de la meva dama,
un penell és la seva ensenya,
Fortuna és el seu nom,
el campament el seu quarter!

I si ella se'n va lluny,
jo no m'amoïno pas,
allà fora sense cavalleria,
el món és tan estúpid.

En lloc de llampegueig de pólvora i espetecs
de cada casa deserta
els veïns miren i xerren
fent fora el goig d'aquest país.

Fortuna plora de ràbia,
les llàgrimes cauen com perles;
"On és el perdonavides?
Ell era tota una altra persona!"

Ella m'allarga el braç,
Fama fa sonar l'escorta,
i així pugem al temple
de la immortalitat.
