Der Glücksritter
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT ENG FRE FRE ITA
Wenn Fortuna spröde tut,
laß' ich sie in Ruh',
singe recht und trinke gut,
und Fortuna kriegt auch Mut,
setzt sich mit dazu.

Doch ich geb' mir keine Müh':
»He, noch eine her!«
kehr' den Rücken gegen sie,
laß' hoch leben die und die
das verdrießt sie sehr.

Und bald rückt sie sacht zu
mir: »Hast du deren mehr?«
»Wie Sie seh'n, drei Kannen schier,
und das lauter Klebebier!
's wird mir gar nicht schwer.«

Drauf sie zu mir lächelt fein:
»Bist ein ganzer Kerl!«
ruft den Kellner, schreit nach Wein,
trinkt mir zu und schenkt mir ein,
echte Blum' und Perl'.

Sie bezahlet Wein und Bier,
und ich, wieder gut,
führe sie am Arm mit mir
aus dem Haus wie'n Kavalier,
alles zieht den Hut.

El cavaller de la Fortuna
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Quan Fortuna es mostra esquerpa
jo la deixo en pau,
canto fort i bec a pler
i Fortuna reprèn coratge
i seu al meu costat.

Però jo no li faig cas:
"Ei, encara una altra cap aquí!"
Li giro l'esquena,
brindo a la salut de tal i qual
i això la fa enfadar molt.

I ben aviat, poc a poc, s'atansa cap a mi:
"En tens més encara?"
"Com pots veure, tres gerres gairebé
i de pura cervesa de malt!
No serà pas molt per a mi."

Llavors ella em somriu finament:
"Tu ets una bona peça!"
Crida al cambrer, demana vi,
beu a la meva salut i m'omple el vas
d'autèntic fruitat i escumós.

Ella paga vi i cervesa
i jo, de nou, sentint-me bé,
l'escorto fora de la casa
donant-li el braç com un cavaller
i tothom es treu el barret.
