Um alles Erdensein,
Kommst, Liebchen, heimlich dann

  Den Rosenhag umfangen.
Ganz furchtlos wirst du sein:
  Der Rosen dichte Hecken,
  Sie werden wohl verstecken
Ihr braunes Schwesterlein

conjumina l’oblit
a tots els éssers de la terra,
vingueres aleshores, estimada, i
d’amagat anares al jardí,
pregonament, l’encís de les ombres
manté encerclat el barder de roses.
No tindràs pas por:
l’espès barder de roses,
bé amagarà
llur bruna germaneta
en la lluminosa claror de lluna.
