weiche Seraphfittiche von Licht,
meine Seele, die hat Schwanenflügel
und ermüdet nie und schlummert nicht.

Meine Seele wacht in deinem Kreise,
segnend streift dich ihrer Flüge Schein
und du neigst dein Haupt und schmiegst dich leise 
tief in ihre Fittiche hinein.
