Sumrak tichij, sumrak tajnyj
Language: Russian (Русский)
Sumrak tichij, sumrak tajnyj,
Drug, davno znakomyj mne,
Beznačal'nyj i beskrajnyj,
Prizrak, zybljuščij tumany,
Vyšel v les i na poljany,
Čto-to šepčet tišine.

Ne slova l' molitvy staroj,
Drevnej, kak sama zemlja?
I opjat', pod večnoj čaroj,
Stali prizračnoj chimeroj
Skudnyj log, orešnik seryj,
Zašossejnye polja.

[Davnij]1, večnyj son stoletij,
V svete zvëzd, opjat' voznik:
I vsja žizn' — liš' vetvi ėti
Mir — kločok rosistyj luga,
Gde usta našli drug druga,
Večnost' — ėtot tëmnyj mig!
