Language: Russian (Русский)
Our translations:  ENG

I beg for mercy!
Language: English  after the Russian (Русский)
I beg for mercy! Do not vex me, Spring,
Do not approach me with painful caress,
And do not wake the heart from deathly sleep
With your infantile but touching tale.
You see how weak I am, o, have mercy upon me!
Your fragrant wind torments and burns me,
I purchased rest and peace at great expense,
So leave them to the soul, weary from suffering.
