Schön Ella und Harold spielen im Wald
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): ENG

Beautiful Ella and Harold are playing in...
Language: English  after the German (Deutsch)
Beautiful Ella and Harold are playing in the woods,
They weave each other flowers for wreaths.
Up above, how the leaves glow golden-green
In the sunny radiance!
"You are the king, I am your wife,
Let us rest upon the rocky throne!
Our entourage, that is the birds in the forest,
A wreath of flowers is our crown.
"Lord King, now let us travel through the land,
One walks softly upon moss,--
There we shall play catch and blind man’s bluff
And throw ourselves teasingly into the roses."
How the stream bubbles over the rocky stones,
How the wind fans through the trees --
Oh blessed, golden spring day,
Oh scented forest dreams!
