Schwestergruß
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE
Im Mondenschein
Wall' ich auf und ab,
Seh Todtenbein'
Und stilles Grab.

In Geisterhauch
Vorüber schwebt's,
Wie Flamm' und Rauch,
Vorüber bebt's; -

Aus Nebeltrug
Steigt eine Gestalt,
Ohn' Sünd und Lug
Vorüber wallt,

Das Aug so blau,
Der Blick so groß,
Wie in Himmelsau,
Wie in Gottes Schoß,

[Ein]1 weiß Gewand
Bedeckt das Bild,
In zarter Hand
Eine Lilie quillt,

In Geisterhauch
Sie zu mir spricht:
»Ich wandre schon
Im reinen Licht,

Seh Mond und Sonn'
Zu meinem Fuß,
Und leb' in Wonn',
In Engelskuß;

Und all die Lust,
Die ich empfind,
Nicht deine Brust
Kennt, Menschenkind!

Wenn du nicht laßt
Den Erdengott,
Bevor dich faßt
Der grause Tod.«

So tönt die Luft,
So saust der Wind,
Zu den Sternen ruft
Das Himmelskind,

Und eh' sie flieht,
Die weiß' Gestalt,
In frischer Blüth'
Sie sich entfalt':

In reiner Flamm'
Schwebt sie empor,
Ohne Schmerz und Harm,
Zu der Engel Chor.

Die Nacht verhüllt
Den heil'gen Ort,
Von Gott erfüllt
Sing ich das Wort.

Salutacions de la germana
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
A la llum de la lluna
erro amunt i avall,
veig restes mortals
i una tomba silenciosa.

En l'hàlit espectral
hi voleia quelcom,
com una flama i fumall,
tremola al passar;

de la delusió de la boira
s'enlaira una figura,
sense pecat ni impostura
i passa vagarejant.

Els ulls tan blaus,
l'esguard tan gran,
com a les prades del cel,
com a la falda de Déu;

una vestidura blanca
cobreix la figura,
a la seva delicada mà
hi brosta un lliri,

amb un alè espectral
ella em parla:
“Ja camino
en la llum pura,

veig la lluna i el sol
als meus peus
i visc en la benaurança,
en les besades dels àngels,

i tot el goig
que experimento,
el teu cor no el coneix pas,
fill de la humanitat!

A menys que abandonis
el déu terrenal,
abans que t'atrapi
la terrible mort.”

Així ressona l'aire,
així xiula el vent,
a les estrelles crida
l'infant del cel,

i abans de marxar
la figura blanca
es desplega en forma
de flors fresques:

en pures flames
sura amunt
sense pena ni dolor
vers el cor d'àngels.

La nit embolcalla
el lloc sagrat,
inspirat per Déu,
jo canto la Paraula.
