א מִזְמוֹר שִׁיר, לְיוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת ב טוֹב, לְהֹדוֹת לַיהוָה; וּלְזַמֵּר לְשִׁמְךָ עֶלְיוֹן. ג לְהַגִּיד בַּבֹּקֶר חַסְדֶּךָ; וֶאֱמוּנָתְךָ, בַּלֵּילוֹת. ד עֲלֵי-עָשׂוֹר, וַעֲלֵי-נָבֶל; עֲלֵי הִגָּיוֹן בְּכִנּוֹר. ה כִּי שִׂמַּחְתַּנִי יְהוָה בְּפָעֳלֶךָ; בְּמַעֲשֵׂי יָדֶיךָ אֲרַנֵּן. ו מַה-גָּדְלוּ מַעֲשֶׂיךָ יְהוָה; מְאֹד, עָמְקוּ מַחְשְׁבֹתֶיךָ. ז אִישׁ-בַּעַר, לֹא יֵדָע; וּכְסִיל, לֹא-יָבִין אֶת-זֹאת. ח בִּפְרֹחַ רְשָׁעִים, כְּמוֹ עֵשֶׂב, וַיָּצִיצוּ, כָּל-פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן: לְהִשָּׁמְדָם עֲדֵי-עַד. ט וְאַתָּה מָרוֹם-- לְעֹלָם יְהוָה. י כִּי הִנֵּה אֹיְבֶיךָ, יְהוָה-- כִּי-הִנֵּה אֹיְבֶיךָ יֹאבֵדו: יתְפָּרְדוּ, כָּל-פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן. יא וַתָּרֶם כִּרְאֵים קַרְנִי; בַּלֹּתִי, בְּשֶׁמֶן רַעֲנָן. יב וַתַּבֵּט עֵינִי, בְּשׁוּרָי: בּקָּמִים עָלַי מְרֵעִים-- תִּשְׁמַעְנָה אָזְנָי. יג צַדִּיק, כַּתָּמָר יִפְרָח; כְּאֶרֶז בַּלְּבָנוֹן יִשְׂגֶּה. יד שְׁתוּלִים, בְּבֵית יְהוָה; בְּחַצְרוֹת אֱלֹהֵינוּ יַפְרִיחוּ. טו עוֹד, יְנוּבוּן בְּשֵׂיבָה; דְּשֵׁנִים וְרַעֲנַנִּים יִהְיוּ. טז לְהַגִּיד, כִּי-יָשָׁר יְהוָה; צוּרִי, וְלֹא-עלתה (עַוְלָתָה) בּוֹ.

1  Un salm, càntic per al dia de dissabte.
    És cosa exquisida de donar gràcies al Senyor
    i lloar el seu nom, oh Altíssim,
2  de proclamar al matí la teva gràcia
    i de nit la teva veritat
3   a les deu cordes de la lira i el saltiri
     i amb el so de l’arpa.
4   Car, Senyor, tu em deixes cantar joiosament de les teves gestes
     i jo elogio l’obra de les teves mans.
5   Senyor, que en són de grans les teves obres!
     Els teus designis són tan profunds!
6   Els necis no ho creuen,
     i els insensats no en fan cas.
7   Els infidels creixen com l’herba
     i els malfactors són tan prolífics,
     fins que seran anihilats per sempre i eternament.
8   Però tu, Senyor, ets el més excels i romans per sempre.
9   Car esguarda, Senyor, els teus enemics,
     els teus enemics moriran,
     i tots els malfactors han de ser dispersats.
10 Però el meu corn serà enlairat com el d’un unicorn,
     i seré ungit amb oli novell.
11 I els meus ulls veuran llur disposició per els meus enemics
     i les meves orelles sentiran llur disposició per els malvats
     que s’aixequen contra mi.
12 Els justos creixeran com les palmeres,
     es faran grans com els cedres del Líban,
13 que estan plantats a la casa del Senyor,
     creixeran als atris del nostre Déu.
14 I quan siguin vells,
     seguiran florint i donant fruit,
15 per proclamar que el Senyor és pietós,
     la meva empara, i que en Ell no hi ha injustícia.
