by Michał Bałucki (1837 - 1901)
Translation by Aleksandra Aleksandrovna Santagano-Gorchakova (1842 - 1913)

Utro
Language: Russian (Русский)  after the Polish (Polski)
Utro bylo svezho i prekrasno,
Solnce s neba gljadelo tak jasno,
Luchami zolotymi sijalo,
Zemlju s laskoj nemoj sogrevalo.

I v to utro stuknulo okoshko,
Iz nego, pokrasnevshi nemnozhko,
Pogljadela krasotka mladaja,
Skazav mne: „Dobryj den zhelaju!“

I v tot otradno tak mne stalo,
Budto solnce sveleje zasijalo.
O, za `eto chudnoje mgnoven'e
Za odin mig polnago takogo schast'ja,

O, za `eto chudnoje mgnoven'e
Za odin mig, za mig `etot schast'ja
Zaplatil by toskoju i tomlen'em
I godinoj bedstvij i nenast'ja!
