's Busserl
Language: Bavarian (Boarisch)  after the German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): ENG
A Busserl is a g'spassig's Ding,
es riegelt's ganze Bluet.
Man isst es nit, man trinkt es nit,
und dechterscht schmecht's so guat.
Und was a Schreiber schreiben kunnt'
wohl in zehntausend Stund,
dös druckt an oanzigs Busserl aus,
dem Schatzerl auf den Mund.
A Busserl is a g'spassig's Ding;
wer's net begreifen kann,
im Herzen is a Kammerl d'rin,
da fangt's zu krabbeln an.
Und wennst nix mehr zum Plauschen woaßt,
nimm's Maderl um den Hals,
schmatz ihr a saftig's Busserl auf,
und's Maderl woaß dann all's.
A Busserl is a g'spassig's Ding,
das Beste, was man hat!
Das Schlimmste bei den Busseln is:
Man kriegt's halt nimmer satt!

A kiss
Language: English  after the Bavarian (Boarisch)
A kiss is a curious thing,
it excites the whole blood.
One doesn't eat it, doesn't drink it,
and nonetheless it tastes so good!
And what a writer might be able to write
during ten thousand hours,
that one single kiss can express,
if pressed on your lassie's mouth.
A kiss is a curious thing,
and if you don't understand it:
There is a chamber within your heart,
where it begins to tickle.
And if you have no more to say,
then embrace her neck
and give her a hearty kiss,
and then she will understand everything.
A kiss is a curious thing,
the best thing one has got!
The worst thing with kisses is:
You'll never get enough of them!
