Oj kiedy jo wyjde, zaśpsiwum po rosie, usłysy Jasiulek, gdzie kuniki pasie. Cyja to dziwcyna psianknie zaśsiwała, mojemu sercoziu cianzoru dodała. Nie na to jo śpsiwum, by ludzie słyseli, smutne syrce moje niech sie rozweseli.

Ein ganz sanftes Wörtlein wird sie munter kriegen! Früh im Morgentauen sing' ich auf der Heide, Hört's mein liebes Hänschen auf der Pferdeweide! Wessen ist das Mädchen, das so schön gesungen? Wie hat's mir im Herzen so schwer nachgeklungen! Nein, nicht darum sing' ich, dass es Leute hören, Um mein trauriges Herze etwas aufzustören!
