The vivacity has left my cheeks, my eyes have lost their gleam and expression, and my mouth will hardly dare to smile ; I can hardly hold up my wilting frame, like flowers at noon when Flora languishes and Zephyr grows faint. I gaze on her with anxious yearning, and cannot turn away my gaze: the charm that stirs in her eyes and laughs in her young cheeks draws my gaze back to her with golden chains. My blood pours swiftly though my veins; I burn and tremble to kiss her; I search for her with wild eyes, and impatience suffocates me for, full of yearning, I can always see her, yet I cannot embrace her.
