L’amore con la sua più pura fiamma Risplende sopra il tetto dell’umile capanna: Amore mio! saremo per sempre uniti Amore mio! da svegli o addormentati! In un abbraccio delicato e tenero quando il giorno illuminerà il cielo, incalzati da una voglia segreta quando poi la sera sarà calata! Felicità discenderà sopra ogni colle e qui poserà, attraversata ogni valle! A noi piacerà che sia ben chiusa La porta della nostra piccola casa! E chiusi al buio leveremo un canto di gioia e non visti saremo da chi di noi invidia prova, e mentre, abbracciati, ci stiamo a baciare nessun imbarazzo ci potrà turbare. Ogni nostra gioia sarà condivisa, il Sole, la Luna, ogni stella luminosa, ogni dono del cielo, ogni sofferenza, e lavoro, e preghiera, ed allegria di danza.
