Я умер от счастья любви разделенной,
И гробом мне были объятия милой,
И был воскрешен я её поцелуем,
И небо узрёл я в очах её дивных.

И, к жизни призванный, в восторге безмолвном
Любуюсь я дивной ее красотою.
И дева с улыбкой кольцо мне вручает
И шепчет так сладко: твоя я навеки! 

И радостно божий весь храм осветился,
И тихо подвел к алтарю я невесту.
И в теплой молитве слились наши души,
И с нею смешали мы слезы блаженства!
