e rasserena il cielo

e gl'alti monti indora.
O bella e vagh'aurora

die Blätter und die Zweige zittern
in der morgendlichen Luft.
Über den Zweigen singen lieblich
die anmutigen Vögel,
der Orient lächelt schon und die
Morgenröte erscheint,
sie spiegelt sich im Meer wieder ,
sie erheitert den Himmel und
läßt das Eis zu Perlen auftauen
und vergoldet die hohen Berge.
Oh, die schöne und reizende Morgenröte,
sie ist deine Botin und du, du bist
Botin der Luft,
die jedes durstige Herz erfrischt.
