Ich habe mein Kindlein in Schlaf gewiegt und es mit Rosen bedeckt, damit es recht schön und stille liegt, bis es der Morgen erweckt. Mit roten Rosen und weißem Klee hab' ich mein Kindlein bestreut, damit unter Blumen ich's schlafen seh', bis sich der Tag erneut.
