 bis d'Sonne nauf goht.
Glei hinter mei'm Häusle,
 o du isch guat sei'!
Glei kommt mit sei'm Sträußle
 mei Schatz hintadrei'.
Er steckt mir des Sträußle
 an's Herzle glei 'na:
"Mei Schätzle, mei Mäußle,
 drei Rösle sind dra!
Drei Rösle im Sträußle,
 drei Rösle, oi Kuss!
O Häußle, o Mäusle,
 o Sträußle, o Schluss!"

Just behind my house, 
 where the chapel stands,
I wait like a mouse
 until the sun rises.
Just behind my house,
 oh you are good!
Here comes my love
 with his posy of flowers.
He pins the flowers
 near my heart,
"My treasure, my mouse,
 here are three roses!
Three roses in the posy,
 three roses, now a kiss!
O house, o mouse,
 o posy. The End."
