La lladradissa dels gossos i el so dels corns ja ressonen ben fort arreu, tothom llança crits de joia a les muntanyes, vinga, vosaltres cavallers i dames gentils. Vinga, vosaltres cavallers i dames gentils! La boira s’esvaeix als llacs, i lluminosa resplendeix la rosada. Més clares corren les ones dels rierols, els caçadors fan la batuda als camps, ja cerquen el rastre de la caça, se sent el ronc so dels corns, Vinga, vosaltres cavallers i dames gentils! Més fort ressona el so dels corns! Vinga, vosaltres cavallers i dames gentils, la joia de la joventut no té aturador, rabent tots se’n van d’aquí, és l’hora del brau caçador que no recela del cérvol que corre, així doncs, ara que el dia ja apunta a les muntanyes, Vinga, vosaltres cavallers i dames gentils!
