els arbres es vinclen amb el vent,
bandejats per la ventada i cansats de la cavalcada,
jo i el meu cavall estem entremig.
Vers les llunyanes extensions àrides
vull fer-te cavalcar fins a l’extenuació,
vull que trotem ensems,
home i cavall, dins d’un sepulcre.
Tremolant, vols aturar-te,
però jo t’haig d’empènyer més lluny,
més lluny vers les extensions àrides,
amb la mort i el diable al nostre costat.
