Zwei Mäuschen

Es waren mal zwei Mäuschen
ganz allein zu Haus,
da krochen sie auf's Fensterbrett
und lugten fein hinaus.

Und als sie lang genug gelugt,
hüpften sie herab
und liefen um den Tisch herum,
tripp, trapp, tripp, trapp, tripp, trapp.

Und als sie müd' vom Laufen war'n,
sprangen sie auf's Bett
und tänzelten und schwänzelten
ein zierlich Menuett.

Und wißt ihr, wer mir das erzählt?
Das Kätzchen Griesegrau.
Das hat von draußen zugeschaut,
miau, miau, miau!

Una vegada hi havia dos ratolins
tots sols a casa,
llavors s’enfilaren a l’ampit de la finestra
i gràcilment miraren enfora.

I quan ja havien mirat prou
saltaren avall
i corregueren al voltant de la taula,
tip, tap, tip, tap, tip, tap.

I quan es cansaren de córrer,
saltaren al llit
i bellugant la cua dansaren
un delicat minuet.

I sabeu qui m’ho va dir?
El gat rondinaire
que des de fora ho veié,
miau, miau, miau!
