Bescheidene Liebe
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT ENG FRE
Ich bin wie and're Mädchen nicht,
die, wenn sie lieben, schweigen
und ihr Geheimnis hütend stumm,
das kranke Köpfchen neigen.
Ja, meine Liebe ist nicht stumm,
mein Plaudern geb' ich nicht darum;
ich liebe doch ganz eigen.

Ich bin wie and're Mädchen nicht,
die, wenn sie lieben, hoffen;
ich trage meine Lieb' zur Schau
vor aller Welt ganz offen.
Oft hat mich schon lieb Mütterlein
mit dem Herzallerliebsten mein
beim Kosen angetroffen.

Ich bin wie and're Mädchen nicht,
doch glücklich, wie ich glaube,
denn meine Liebe richtet sich
auf Trauring nicht und Haube.
Er bleibt mein trauter Bräutigam,
er girrt so süß, er ist so zahm
mein Lieb ist meine Taube.

Amor modest
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
No sóc com les altres noies
que quan estan enamorades, callen,
i guarden en silenci el seu secret,
i acoten amb pena el seu cap.
Sí, el meu amor no és mut,
no paro mai de xerrar;
jo estimo a la meva manera.

No sóc com les altres noies
que quan estan enamorades, esperen;
jo porto el meu amor a la vista
de tot el món ben obertament.
Sovint la meva mare estimada
m’ha enxampat fent carícies
a l’estimat del meu cor.

No sóc com les altres noies,
però feliç, jo penso,
el meu amor no malda pas
per un anell i un vel de casament.
Em resta el meu estimat promès,
ell parrupeja tan dolçament, és tan dòcil,
el meu amor és com un colom.
