Solnce i mesyacz
Language: Russian (Русский)
Noch`yu v koly'bel` mladencza
Mesyacz luch svoj zaronil.
«Otchego tak svetit Mesyacz?«
Robko on [menya]1 sprosil.

[V]1 den`-den`skoj ustalo Solnce
I skazal emu Gospod`:
«Lyag, [zasni]2, i za toboyu
Vse zadremlet, vse zasnyot.»

I vzmolilos` Solnce bratu:
«Brat moj, Mecyacz zolotoj,
Ty' zazhgi fonar` -- i noch`yu
Obojdi [ty' kraj zemnoj]1.

Kto tam molitsya, kto plachet,
Kto meshaet lyudyam spat`,
Vse razvedaj -- i poutru
Prixodi i daj mne znat`.»

Solnce spit, a Mesyacz xodit,
Storozhit zemnoj pokoj.
Zavtra zh rano-rano k bratu
Postuchitsya brat men`shoj.

Stuk-stuk-stuk! -- Otvoryat dveri.
«Solnce, vstan` -- grachi letyat,
Petuxi davno propeli --
I k zautreni zvonyat.»

Solnce vstanet, Solnce sprosit:
«Chto, golubchik, bratecz moj,
Kak tebya gospod`-bog nosit?
Chto ty' bleden? chto s toboj?»

I nachnyot rasskaz svoj Mesyacz
Kto i kak sebya vedyot.
Esli noch` by'la spokojna,
Solnce veselo vzojdyot.

Esli zh net -- vzojdyot v tumane,
Veter dunet, dozhd` pojdyot,
V sad gulyat` ne vy'jdyot nyanya
I ditya ne povedyot.
