Milder Nachtthau rieselt durch Laub und Blüthen, Wie der Anmuth Thräne von dunkler Wimper. Holder Wohllaut träufelt in jeder Perle, -- Cosima, schläfst du? Ach! ein Gluthstrom heiliger Liebeswogen Schwellt das Herz mir, wonnige Maid von Capri! Trunkne Sehnsucht lodert in jedem Pulsschlag, -- Cosima, schläfst du?
