Es ist kein Weh auf Erden,
So heiß, so [laut und]¹ wild,
Die Sühne soll ihm werden,
Sei still, so wird's gestillt.

Und ist kein Tod vorhanden,
Was Liebes du begräbst,
Gleich ist's dir auferstanden,
Wie du nur treu ihm lebst.

Auch giebt's kein wirklich Scheiden,
Der Trennung öden Schmerz,
Du brauchst ihn nie zu leiden,
Bleib nah' nur Herz an Herz.

In ihres Mantels Falten
Trägt Gottes Lieb' die Welt,
Wer sich von ihr läßt halten,
Den sie gar treulich hält.

Conhort

No hi ha cap mal a la terra,
tan flagrant, tan fort i tan salvatge,
que no pugui ser reparat,
estigues tranquil que ell serà apaivagat.

I no hi ha cap mort efectiva,
l’amor que tu enterrares,
ressuscitarà per a tu de la mateixa manera
com tu fidel el visqueres. 

Tampoc hi ha cap veritable comiat,
el trist dolor de la separació
no l’has pas de sofrir mai,
resta tan sols amb el teu cor prop de l’altre.

En els plecs del seu mantell
Déu porta l’amor al món,
a qui d’amor es deixa recolzar,
el mantindrà fidel per sempre.
