Psaume de David, quand il était dans le désert d'Idumée. Dieu, mon Dieu, je suis éveillé près de toi dès le matin. Mon âme a soif de toi; de combien de manière ma chair te demande ! Dans la terre déserte, et inaccessible, et sans eau, ainsi je suis apparu devant toi dans le sanctuaire, pour voir ta puissance et ta gloire. Comme ta miséricorde est meilleure que la vie, mes lèvres te loueront. Ainsi je te bénirai dans ma vie, et en ton nom je lèverai mes mains. Comme de graisse et de matière grasse mon âme se remplira, et par mes lèvres transportées de joie ma bouche louera. Si sur mon lit je me souviens de toi, Le matin je penserai à toi. Parce que tu as été mon aide, et sous la couverture de tes ailes j'exulterai. Mon âme s'est accrochée à toi ; ta droite me soutient . Ceux qui cherchent vraiment inutilement mon âme Entreront dans les terres inférieures ; ils seront livrés au tranchant de l'épée, il seront livrés aux renards. Le roi se réjouira vraiment en Dieu ; tous ceux qui jurent par lui seront loués, parce que la bouche de ceux qui parlent injustement est fermée.
