Kajze mi sie podzioł
mój synocek miły?
Pewnie go w powstaniu
złe wrogi zabiły.

Wy niedobrzy ludzie,
dlo Boga świętego
cemuście zabili
synocka mojego?

Zodnej jo podpory
juz nie byda miała,
choć bych moje
stare ocy wypłakała.

Choćby z mych łez gorkich
drugo Odra była,
jesce by synocka
mi nie ozywiła.

Lezy on tam w grobie,
a jo nie wiem kandy,
choc sie opytuja
miedzy ludzmi wsandy.

Moze nieborocek
lezy kaj w dołecku.
a mógłby se lygać
na swoim przypiecku.

Ej, ćwierkeycie mu tam,
wy ptosecki boze,
kiedy mamulicka
znalezć go nie moze.

A ty, boze kwiecie,
kwitnijze w około,
niech sie synockowi
choć lezy wesoło.

Lento, cantabile semplice
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the Polish (Polski)
On ha anat a parar,
el meu fill estimat?
Potser durant la sublevació,
l'ha mort l'enemic cruel.

I vosaltres, gent sense pietat,
en nom de Déu gloriós,
digueu-me, per què heu mort
el meu fill adorat?

Mai més em podrà protegir,
encara que plorant,
buidés els meus ulls
de vella.

Encara que les meves amargues llàgrimes
formessin un gran riu,
no podrien tornar-me
el meu fill perdut.

No sé on està
enterrat,
tot i que no paro
de preguntar-ho a tothom.

Potser el meu pobre fill
es troba en una llorda fossa,
en lloc de reposar, com hauria de fer-ho,
en el seu llit tou i calent.

Canteu per a ell,
Oh! ocellets, criatures de Déu,
perquè la seva mare,
no és capaç de trobar-lo.

I vosaltres, floretes que Déu creà,
floriu entorn la seva tomba,
per tal que, el meu fill,
pugui descansar en pau.
