Kak sčastliv tot...
Language: Russian (Русский)
Kak sčastliv tot, kto v burnom svete,
Najdja spokojnyj ugolok,
Imeet tišinu v predmete;
Komu ne strašen groznyj rok!

On solnce radostno vstrečaet;
Ne vidit noč'ju strašnych snov,
Zabot i gorja ne vpuskaet
Pod svoj uedinennyj krov!

On vesel; on ne znaet skuki;
Naukami pitaet duch;
Mirskich siren volšebny zvuki
Ego ne obol'ščajut sluch;

Ego vladyčestvo – priroda!
Bezmolvnyj les – ego čertog,
Ego sokrovišče – svoboda!
Beseda – tišina i Bog!

I ja sim raem naslaždalsja,
Bespečno vek svoj provoždal,
Prirodoj, tišinoj plenjalsja
I druga k serdcu prižimal.

No ach! JA s sčastiem prostilsja!
Uznal ljubov' s ee toskoj, -
I s mirom serdca razlučilsja!
Ljublju – i grob peredo mnoj.
