Als ihn Korf befragt, warum er schwanke,
meint er: weil ein lieblicher Gedanke,
wie ein Vogel, zärtlich und geschwind,
auf ein kleines ihn belastet habe -
schwanke er als wie ein Zweig im Wind,
schwingend noch von der willkommnen Gabe.
