Dusha moya v plenu
Language: Russian (Русский)
Dusha moya v plenu, v plenu u tyazhkix dum,
u dnej bez radosti, u nochi bez rassveta!
Ni mirny'j son polej, ni ulicz pestry'j shum
ne budyat bol`she v nej sozvuchnogo otveta.

Kuda, kuda bezhat`? Pusty'nen krugozor,
znoj opalil ego dy'xan`em mrachnoj skuki...
I solnce, kak skvoz` dy'm, brosaet mertvy'j vzor,
i prizrachny', kak son, i radosti, i muki!

Dusha moya v plenu! I grezitsya vdali ej kraj plenitel`ny'j,
volshebny'j kraj svobody',
gde shumny'j zhizni pir, czvetushhij pir zemli,
kipit, kak veshnie sverkayushhie vody'...

Duma moya v plenu, v plenu u tyazhkix dum...
