Wein und Liebe
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG
Liebchen und der Saft der Reben
Theilen meines Herzens Gluth,
Und beseligen mein Leben:
Sie ist reizend, er ist gut.

Liebchen macht den Wein mir werther;
Sie kredenzt so freundlich ihn.
Auch mein Liebchen strahlt verklärter,
Wenn ich voll des Nectars bin.

Doppelt ist mein Herz geangelt:
Wein und Liebchen preis' ich hoch.
Wenn zuweilen Eines mangelt,
Tröstet mich das And're doch.

Beiden ewig anzuhängen,
Schwöre frohen Muthes ich.
Sie begeistern zu Gesängen,
Ja, zu heil'gem Wahnsinn mich.

Wagt's, mein Liebchen anzublicken!
Kostet meinen Tafelwein!
Und, o Freunde, mit Entzücken
Stimmt ihr in mein Loblied ein.

So verschön' ich ohne Kummer
Täglich meinen Lebenslauf.
Bacchus dank' ich süßen Schlummer,
Amor weckt mich wieder auf.

Wijn en liefde
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)  after the German (Deutsch)
Liefje en het sap van druiven
Zetten heel mijn hart in gloed,
En verzaligen mijn leven:
Zij is lieflijk, hij is goed.

Liefje maakt de wijn volmaakter,
Zij schenkt hem zo vriend'lijk in.
En mijn liefje straalt ook mooier
Als ik nectarvol bemin.

Dubbel is mijn hart verankerd,
Wijn en liefje schat ik hoog;
Als soms een van beide weg is,
Troost mij toch het and're nog.

Beiden eeuwig aan te hangen
Zweer ik, goedgemutst en blij;
Zij bezielen tot gezangen,
Ja, tot heil'ge waanzin mij.

Kijk eens even naar mijn liefje,
Proef dan ook mijn tafelwijn,
En, o vrienden, vol verrukking
Zal mijn lof de jouwe zijn.

Zo verzoet ik zonder zorgen
Al mijn dagen, keer op keer,
Bacchus schenkt mij lekk're nachtrust,
Amor maakt mij wakker weer.
