The Samian Oracle

Behold the joyful day will soon come, 
which will remove the black clouds, 
unravelling the knotty writings of the prophets of the Jewish people, 
as the songs of the people say.
They will be able to touch this shining king of men,
Whom the untouched virgin will nurse with human breast.
Heaven affirms this, the shining stars show it.
