Front estoylé, Trophée à mon Seigneur,
Qui dans ton jour ses despouilles étuye:

Gorge de marbre, où la beaulté s'appuye,
Col Albastrin emperlé de bonheur,
Tetin d'ivoyre où se niche l'honneur,
Sein dont l'espoyr mes travaulx desennuye:

Vous avez tant appasté mon desir,
Que pour souler la faim de son plaisir,
Et nuict et jour il fault qu'il vous revoye.

Comme un oyseau, qui ne peult sejourner,
Sans revoler, tourner, et retourner,
Aux bordz congneuz pour y trouver sa proye.

Neck of alabaster pearled with happiness
Nipple of ivory where honour is stationed
Breast the hope for which makes light my labours

You have fed my desire so
As to make me drunk with hunger for her regard
And night and day I have to see you again

Like a bird which cannot rest
Without flying again, turning and turning about
Over well-known territory to find there its prey.
