Auf der Riesenkoppe
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE
Hoch auf dem Gipfel
Deiner Gebirge
Steh' ich und staun' ich,
Glühend begeistert,
Heilige Koppe,
[Himmelanstürmerin]1!

Weit in die Ferne
Schweifen die [trunkenen]2,
Freudigen Blicke,
Überall Leben,
Üppiges Streben,
Überall Sonnenschein.

Blühende Fluren,
Schimmernde Städte,
Dreyer Könige
Glückliche Länder
Schau' ich begeistert,
Schau' ich mit hoher,
[Inniger]3 Lust.

Auch meines Vaterlands
Gränze erblick' ich,
Wo mich das Leben
Freundlich begrüßte,
Wo mich der Liebe
Heilige Sehnsucht
Glühend ergriff.

Sey mir gesegnet
Hier in der Ferne
Liebliche Heimath!
Sey mir gesegnet,
Land meiner Träume!
Kreis meiner Lieben,
Sey mir gegrüßt!

Sur le Riesenkoppe
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Là-haut sur le sommet
de la montagne
Je me tiens et je m'émerveille.
Embrasé et enthousiaste,
saint Koppe,
Conquérant des cieux !

Tout au loin
Vagabonde mon regard
enivré et joyeux ;
Partout la vie,
de somptueuses aspirations,
Partout l'éclat du soleil !

Des champs en fleurs,
des villes scintillantes,
Les terres heureuses
de trois rois
Sont vues de mes yeux enivrés,
je regarde avec un grand
Plaisir intérieur.

Je vois aussi les frontières
de ma patrie,
Où la vie m'a accueilli
d'abord amicalement,
Où le saint désir
de l'amour
M'a saisi de son feu.

Sois bénie par moi
ici de loin,
Chère patrie !
Sois bénie,
terre de mes rêves,
Cercle de mes chers,
soyez salués par moi !

Note : Le Riesenkoppe (montagne des géants) est maintenant à la frontière de la Pologne et de la république tchèque. Son nom est Sněžka en tchèque, Śnieżka en polonais.
