Oben drehen sich die großen
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the Slovenian (Slovenščina)
Our translations:  DUT ENG FRE
Oben drehen sich die großen
Unbekannten Welten dort,
Von dem Sonnenlicht umflossen
Kreisen sie die Bahnen fort!
Traulich reihet sich der Sterne
Zahlenloses Heer ringsum,
Sieht sich lächelnd durch die Ferne
Und verbreitet Gottes Ruhm.

Eine lichte Straße gleitet
Durch das weite Blau herauf,
Und die Macht der Gottheit leitet
Schwebend hier den Sternenlauf;
Alles hat sich zugeründet,
Alles wogt in Glanz und Brand,
Und dieß große All verkündet
Eine hohe Bildnerhand.

Jene Sternenheere weisen,
Schöpfer! deine Majestät!
Selig kann nur der sich preisen,
Dessen Geist zu dir entweht;
Nur dein Loblied wird er singen,
Wohnen ob dem Sphärengang,
Freudig sich durch Welten schwingen,
Trinkend reinen Engelsang.

Les mondes des étoiles
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Là-haut, tournent les immenses
Mondes inconnus là-bas,
Et baignés dans la lumière du soleil,
Ils tournent en rond dans leur course ;
Gentiment autour d'eux les étoiles
Étendent leurs troupes innombrables,
En souriant elles se regardent de loin
Et proclament la gloire de Dieu.

Un chemin lumineux glisse
À travers le vaste firmament bleu,
Et le pouvoir de Dieu guide
La course des étoiles qui flottent ;
Tout a atteint la perfection ;
Tout tourbillonne dans la lumière et le feu,
Et l'immense univers proclame
La main du très haut sculpteur.
